Read-to-your-child program needs children’s books.

Appalachian Prison Book Project has been contacted by a nurse in Bowling Green, KY, who works in a prison and is starting a read-to-your-child program there. She is seeking donations of children’s books. The books will be read by inmates and the readings recorded, with the video and book given to the child. This is a great way to keep families with incarcerated loved ones connected. If you have any children’s books to donate, please contact us at appalachianpbp@gmail.com or drop them off in the space during open hours with a note designating them for this project. Thanks!

  1. This sounds like a great project. What age level books are you looking for , Should they be donated all at once or could I make 3 small donations over 3 months ?
