Fundraisers needed

APBP is looking for a few good fundraisers to help us through the next few months. We do have some longer-range plans in the works, but in the meantime, given the sharp decrease in public service grant funds awarded to us this past year, and our ever-increasing popularity as word spreads among the incarcerated folks we serve, the bank account is unfortunately running a little low! If you are an APBP supporter who would like to help us raise funds– and you have a great idea to help make that happen– please contact us at appalachianpbp@gmail.com, or email katy ryan at kohearnr@wvu.edu. One idea that we are always excited about is musicians doing fundraiser shows in the local community, so be you a member of a band or a solo balladeer that wants to help out, send us a line! Other creative ideas welcome. Thanks!
